Objective
Explore a task interface that uses explicit user choices to prioritize relevant actions while keeping navigation and keyboard focus stable.
What would be tested
- Compare a fixed action list with a version that groups actions using a user-selected context.
- Verify keyboard order, screen-reader names, focus recovery, and browser zoom.
- Check that actions stay discoverable after a context change and can be reversed.
- Use synthetic scenarios rather than inferring sensitive personal attributes.
Current observations
This concept has not undergone a user study. Its starting constraint is to keep the full action set available and let the user explicitly choose context.
Next step
Create two small semantic HTML prototypes and define task-based review criteria.
